When Finn started on Fredericia Gymnasium he formed a college band. Finnguitar has digged into the past and now disclose that Finn had some succes when he played at various parties at college. It started him to start a band with other students with no real name - it was the band of this college.

Finn already the first semester meet a lot of wonderful people. Amongs the musican was Burger Billy on drums, Willy Vap on bass, Peter on sax, Erik on guitar, Paul also played guitar. The band Mardee, an american lead vocalist with broadway usical background.
Mardee was an exchange student for USA. She used to be on local musical in USA. She could really shake her bare shoulder, swing the microphone and hit all the right notes.
Finn already then played a juicy acid like ovedriven guitar with a lot sustained distortion. He used to borrow SG Gibson from Paul both for practice and for college gigs. Finn nick name was Johnny B. Good.

Background for the college band Fredericia was and is still a quite small city, but it had a great music underground inspired of all kind of national and international music scene. People went to all possible places to lesten to al the great musicians in New York, London, San Francisco, Los Angelos and Copenhagen. The big International groups was Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Gong, Frank Zappa, Carlos Santana, Bob Dylan, Deep Purple just to mention a few of the rock groups. But also folk, jazz, blues, classic music, funk, punk, reaggae.
Finn also played on a local no any longer existing pub "Stoppestedet" mostly just for the free beer. Finn meet at a lot people here, intellectuals, writers, politicial activists, musicians and atists. He for example meet Sander a sculptor from Hungary in those seated days in Fredeicia. Sander and Finn exhibited once in the local central exhibition centre. Sander has some fantastic sculptures in stone and Finn exhibited a serie disclosing "the lady in blue". Sanders stones had a really nice quality - you could touch the stone and you would not believe how soft a cold stone could feel like.
