How is your sound these days?
I am going back to playing focusing on the guitar sound that started eveything years back. I had many good events with focus on singing. That is good but usually lead to a style defined by the style of the singing.It is matural because I feel that the music follow the story the singer present to support the song. It takes some focus away from music itself.
What will you do about it?
Well, I will going back so the style is closer to the starting point. The singer will be less central in sound. It means that going back to more verse back ground vocalstyle. To compensate for thr veaker vocsl focus vocal harmonies will be added.
Will you sing your own songs?
I might. I am not a trained singer. But if is better for the overall expression of this style.
The long improvised guitar solo is back?
No. There are no plan to go back to very long guitar solos as in the past. Basically I do not think that the time is for long solos. It may come back. Of course some of the song will have longer improvised solos. Improvisation will be still be the basic in this style of music but maybe in a shorther version.
Can explain what your style is all about?
The music style attempt be create the basis for a good feeling. It is the feeling of being alive. But there is more to it. There is story telling and then trying find the the moment. You know when everything is floating and you stop to think. Probem it cannot be chased. It have to just be there from time to time with no intension of trying.
