The band consisted of Jørgen D.N vocal and guitar, Finn on vocal and guitar, T
orben on drums and Claus on bas and vocal. The band started as an acoustic folk band playing song inspired by Bob Dylan, Donovan, John Lennon and Berth Jansch.
There were quite a lot confusion about the band name because it was often refered in the local newspaper, Fredericia Dagblad as FC's rockband.
The band played many gigs in school events, bars and cafés in Fredericia. Also at various local festivas they played, for example 1. May arrangements. The band actually had Lars Lilholt as back up with his one afternoon at gig in favour the third world. Lars Lilholt volunteers to back up for 3 songs played by Finn and Jørgen D.N. A tape with the three songs was made, but it has unfortualtely disappeared.
The band used also play in Odense in Hansens Værtshus, badstuen and Casablinca. Sometimes as warm up but mainly as the evenings top band.
Live gig in Mælkebøtten
On a gig in a book café called Mælkebøtten things went a little funny. The band did buy electric instrument a couple af days before the gig but the poster announced folk music by Rose. But the band used electric guitars.
The audience did not know anything. Finn actually went down at the entrance of the café and added electric above the name Rose after people had paid entrance fee. People had looked forward to acoustic versions of good folk songs.
Instead the band played powerful psycedelic rock music. Half of the crowd was really confused, but a few old hippies started to dance. This was the last time Rose was invited to play in Mælkebøtten.
