Muscial influences and music inspirations
The 1960's was the big decade for the great rock guitarist Jerry Garcia, Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix and David Gilmour, Pink Floyd, Duane Allman, Allman Brothers Band. But also Jorma Kaukonen, Jefferson Airplane, Daevid Allen and Steve Hillary from Gong and Frank Zappa was from this decade.
Finn has explained to Finnguitar that he was very facisnated by the mentioned guitar players all were all caractarised by an enormous guitar technique, great insight in the artistic perspective and the use in new fascinating songs.
Acoustic guitar players
Also from this decade the great acoustic performers Berth Jansch and John Renbourn from Pentangle, Ralph McTell, Stefan Grossman had big influence.
Music styles
Many music styles as rock jazz, folk, blues and even classical music has inspired Finn and Finnguitar. Example Bob Dylan, Donovan, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, Grant Green, BB king, Mozart, Beethoven and Tchaikovski.
